The
proposal that Raffaello Fellah has put forward over the past months
in order to give a practical solution to the difficult Middle
Eastern problems has one characteristic in particular. It lays
down a solid idea with which to tie-up the extremely difficult
loose-ends for which diplomatic negotiations and the efforts of
so-called "unarmed" supporters would otherwise not suffice.
I am not talking about firearms, but about practical means through
which to begin to give some sort of satisfaction to those who
have been waiting for so long. Other proposals are welcome as
indeed are financial improvements to the current proposal It is
essential not to delay any longer in futile regrets and insatiable
decisive planning.
Unfortunately
the failure of Camp David has left this proposal far from resolved.
