The three representatives of the Christian, Jewish
and Islamic religions together with the Secretary General
of the Jewish Association of Italy and authorities on the
Hebrew Community in Rome. |

chain of peace. |

Testimony to the brotherhood of Christians,
Jews and Muslims under the same roof of
Abraham: The three monotheistic religions inside
the Islamic Cultural Center of Italy with the
maximum religious authority of the Great
Mosque of Rome. |

At the head of the table, Imam Omar of The
Mosque of Rome, listens to the historic proposal
set forth by Imam Husain of Argentina and backed
by the other members of the Mission of Peace:
"Dealing with the first interreligious meeting to
be held in Jedda, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
in 1998. |

In the center-right, The Rabbi of the Synagogue of
Madrid joins hands with the representatives of the
three monotheistic religions.
His words seem to be a
traced copy of the different hosts of this
Mission of Peace. |

The Imam Sheik Munir Al-Musairid of the Madrid
Mosque welcomes the three religious ministers
with words that bode well for future meetings
behalf of strengthening the fraternal ties of
Muslims, Jews and Cristians, marking and unprecedented history-making
event. As such,
the three religins join together for peace
among men. |

His Holiness Pope John Paul II welcomes the Bishop
Manager Charbel Merhi, a maronite Catholic, the Imam
mahmud husain and Professor Abraham Szwarc with
the phrase "ut unum sint" (we are all one). |
